How to build an SEO-Friendly Website without code

How to build an SEO Friendly Website Without Code

Blog Introduction:

As a coach, consultant, or online service provider, you know that having a strong online presence is essential to growing your business. But if you’re not particularly tech-savvy, the idea of building a website from scratch can be daunting. Fortunately, there are some simple steps you can take to make sure your website is optimized for search engines – and you don’t need to know a single line of code to do it!

In this blog, we’ll go over the basics of Search Engine Optimization and how you can begin to implement an SEO Strategy that will help you search engine rankings so you can be found through organic traffic like google search results and other major search engines.

What is SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and WHY Does it Matter?

SEO has to do with the way you create content using relevant keywords, meta description content, meta tags, internal links, and external links to let search engines know what your content is all about.

Some of the biggest search engines in the world consist of Google, YouTube, and Pinterest.

Your main goal with SEO content is to rank on the first page of search results which will dramatically increase your overall organic website traffic and ideally, your bottom line.

What are the biggest SEO Ranking factors?

the 3 most important ranking factors

The three most important ranking factors are:

1. Content Quality

2. Links

3. RankBrain (Google’s Artificial Intelligence System)

Content Quality: In order to rank on the first page of any search engine, you’ll need to make sure your content is high quality and relevant to what people are searching for.

This means that your content should be well researched, well written, and provide value to the reader.

If you’re not sure what kind of content is considered high quality, take a look at some of the articles that are currently ranking on the first page for your target keywords.

Chances are, they’re well-written, informative, and provide a unique perspective. That’s the kind of content you should be aiming for.

Links: Links are essentially votes from other websites telling search engines that your content is valuable and relevant.

The more links you have pointing to your website, the higher you’ll rank in search results.

There are two types of links you should focus on:

the two most important links to focus on

1. External Links: These are links from other websites that point to your website. Getting high-quality external links can be difficult, but it’s definitely worth the effort.

2. Internal Links: These are links from your own website that point to other pages on your website.

Internal linking is important because it helps search engines understand the structure of your website and find new content.

It also helps to increase the average time a visitor spends on your site, which is a positive ranking factor.

RankBrain: RankBrain is an artificial intelligence system that Google uses to help determine which websites should rank for certain keywords.

While the specifics of how RankBrain works are unknown, we do know that it takes into account things like click-through rate (CTR) and dwell time.

This means that if people are clicking on your website in search results and then spending a lot of time on your site, that’s a good sign to Google that your website is relevant and should be ranked higher.

How to Optimize Your Website for SEO

how to optimize your website for SEO

Now that you know the basics of SEO, it’s time to start optimizing your own website.

Here are some simple steps you can take to make sure your website is search engine friendly:

1. Do keyword research: Keyword research is essential for on-page optimization.

You need to find out what keywords people are searching for that are related to your business, and then use those keywords throughout your website.

There are a number of different keyword research tools you can use, such as Google AdWords Keyword Planner and KWFinder.

2. Optimize your title tags and meta descriptions: Title tags and meta descriptions are two of the most important elements of on-page optimization.

Your title tag should be a short, descriptive sentence that includes your target keyword.

Your meta description should also be short and to the point, and it should include your target keyword as well.

3. Use keyword-rich URLs: URLs are another important element of on-page optimization.

When possible, you should use keywords in your URLs so that search engines can easily identify what your page is about.

4. Use internal linking: As we mentioned before, internal linking is important for SEO because it helps search engines understand

5. Optimize your images: Whenever you add images to your website, make sure to include relevant keywords in the file names and fill out the alternate text field with a brief, keyword-rich description of the image.

Doing this will help search engines understand what your images are about and index them properly.

6. Use social media: Social media is a great way to promote your website and attract new visitors.

Make sure to post links to your website on your social media profiles and encourage others to share your content.

7. Monitor your progress: Finally, it’s important to keep track of how your website is doing in the search results.

You can do this using Google Search Console, which is a free tool that allows you to see how often your site appears in Google search results, what keywords it ranks for, and more.

What goes into building an SEO Website?

1. Do your research. Before you even start building your website, it’s important to do your keyword research. This will help you determine what terms and phrases potential customers are using to search for businesses like yours, and how competitive those terms are. There are a number of great keyword research tools out there (some of which are even free!), so there’s no excuse not to do this important step.

Finding Search Engines That Work For You

2. Once you’ve done your keyword research and have a good idea of what terms you want to target, it’s time to find a platform that will allow you to build an SEO-friendly website without any coding required. platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix offer beautiful templates and easy-to-use drag-and-drop editors that make creating a professional-looking website a breeze – even for complete beginners!

3. Optimize your website’s title tags and meta descriptions. Title tags and meta descriptions are HTML elements that you can use to improve the visibility of your website in search results. Your title tag should be a brief, relevant description of your page’s content, and your meta description should provide more detailed information about what people will find on your site.

4. Use keyword-rich URLs. URLs are another important element of on-page optimization. When possible, you should use keywords in your URLs so that search engines can easily identify what your page is about.

5. Use internal linking. As we mentioned before, internal linking is important for SEO because it helps search engines understand the structure of your website and find new content

3. Use keywords throughout your site. Now that you have a platform and a general idea of the keywords you want to target, it’s time to start incorporating them into your site. Use keywords in your page titles, in the headlines and body copy of your pages, in the image alt text, and even in your website’s URL if possible. But beware – stuffing keywords in indiscriminately will not only turn off potential customers but can actually hurt your ranking as well! Try to use them naturally, as if you’re having a conversation with someone.

Search Engine Optimization

4. Optimize your images. Whenever you add an image to your website, be sure to optimize it for SEO by giving it a relevant file name and filling out the Alt Text field with a brief description of what is happening in the image. This will help search engines “read” your images and index them properly – which can lead to more traffic being driven to your site!

5. Publish fresh content regularly. One of the best things you can do for your website’s SEO is publish fresh content on a regular basis – whether that’s a blog post, podcast episode, video tutorial, or something else entirely. Not only will this help show potential customers that you’re active and engaged, but it will also give search engines more reason to index your site frequently – which can lead to higher rankings over time.

Monitor Search Engine Results

6. Monitor your progress. Once you’ve been working on optimizing your website for a while, it’s important to keep track of how well those efforts are paying off! Use Google Analytics or another similar service to track things like the bounce rate on each page of your site, average time spent on the site, and the number of visitors driven by organic searches. This will give you valuable insights into whether or not what you’re doing is actually working – and help you adjust the course if necessary.

Conclusion:

By following these simple tips, you can easily create an SEO-friendly website without needing to learn any coding! Just remember to do your keyword research, choose the right platform, use keywords throughout your site, optimize your images, publish fresh content regularly, and monitor your progress over time. These steps will put you well on your way toward attracting new leads and growing your business!
